Hi, I'm Tran Tien Thang, a Senior Frontend Engineer from Viet Nam. I have about 8 years of experience building scalable, high-performance web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and Next.js, with a strong focus on user experience, performance, and code quality. Company Overview
- Sky Mavis is a blockchain technology company best known for the Axie Infinity ecosystem and the Ronin chain. The company pioneers scalable Web3 infrastructure and was among the first to introduce cryptocurrency to a global audience through games and real-world applications. Sky Mavis operates with a strong engineering culture focused on scalability, security, and long-term adoption.
Responsibilities
- Worked as a Senior Frontend Engineer and Team Lead, taking ownership of building and evolving frontend systems, guiding technical direction, and supporting the team through mentoring and code reviews.
- Took ownership of frontend architecture and feature development, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Worked closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to translate requirements into clean, reliable frontend solutions.
- Defined and enforced frontend best practices, coding standards, and reusable component patterns.
- Reviewed technical approaches and helped team make practical tradeoffs between performance, complexity, delivery speed.
- Helped plan and break down tasks, ensuring smooth execution and on-time delivery.
Projects
- App.Axie - The official Axie Infinity Universe hub that allows users to trade, manage, and transfer in-game assets of Axie Universal Ecosystem on the blockchain. The players can connect with crypto wallet to trade their in-game NFT assets (Axies, Land Plot, Land Item, Accessory,...), manage their collections, and participate in the game's blockchain-based economy, including earning rewards, all on a platform that has seen significant trading volume and community engagement.
- Axie Infinity Website - The official web platform for Axie Infinity, a leading Web3 blockchain game and digital asset ecosystem. The website serves as the central hub for the Axie community to explore game information, access game applications (such as Axie Infinity Origins and Classic), running Axie games event(Atia Legacy Pre-register) and connect with the broader ecosystem including the App.Axie, Axie Lore, Governance token (AXS), and Community channels(Twitter, Discord, Youtube).
- Skymavis Website - The official corporate website of Sky Mavis, a Web3 technology company best known for building Axie Infinity and the Ronin blockchain. The website showcases Sky Mavis’s ecosystem also provides company information, vision, careers and products, serving as the primary public-facing platform for partners, developers, investors, and the global community.
- Axie Infinity Dango Design System - The React components library. It provides pre-built, reusable UI components that ensure consistency, accelerate development and across other products in Axie Ecosystems.

My Hobbies

Beyond my love for technology, I enjoy spending my free time learning new tools and frameworks. I’m a big fan of Chinese XianXia novels and movies (such as A Mortal’s Journey to Immortality, Renegade Immortal, Fights Break Sphere, Sword Of Coming... ).
I love playing traditional flutes like the Vietnamese bamboo flute and the Chinese Dizi.
